With Zira gone, Eril and Málas's attention turned to Mia and Fou-Lu. Both knew her rather well.

{Mia! I'm glad to see you again too!} Eril greeted her warmly, hugging her even as she held onto Fou's arm. {So who's this? Did you ever find your father?}

Mia grinned brightly at Eril, which was rather out of character for her since the last time he saw her. {Oh! This is Fou-Lu. Fou, this is Eril.} The men greeted each other and Mia continued on. {I never found my father, I found out he died years ago.}

{I'm sorry to hear that. So...are you two....serious?}

Mia nodded with much certainty, then looked up at Fou-Lu with adoring eyes. {I think he may be the One.}

{Mia? Settle down?} Málas interjected. {Darling, what has come over you?} Málas said with a smirk.

Eril was equally surprised. Fou, however strangely, looked upset. Mia ignored it though. He loved her and had even said he wanted to marry her. She just beamed with pure joy and hugged Fou-Lu's arm.

Meanwhile, Eril and Málas were unsure of what to make of it. They played it off with a friendly exterior, but on the inside, both knew that something wasn't right.

Joline looked at the elves, shaking her head in disappointment. Joline always thought they were aloof and peaceful, but the Glassy Woods elves had proved to be prejudiced against any but their own and quick to fight. The dark elves--though she had always learned to fear them--here seemed very reluctant to fight, and only did so in self defense. They seemed much more like humans here than the monsters she always thought of them as.

The fight didn't help her nerves any. Joline jumped as she heard her name called and she saw Luria mulling through the crowds looking for her. "Luria! Over here!" Joline waved her hand in the air to try and draw the half-elf's attention to where she, Arturo and Fasz were standing.

Alera kicked up her feet and relaxed. Too much stress led to weak thought. She thought it better to keep a calm one. And this one needed a bit of r&r.

Zira walked back into the inn and leaned against the wall near the hole that now served as the entrance. There were some quiet conversations, but not like before. The mood was much more subdued. Zira cleared her throat, which brought most people's attention to her.

"Our meeting will start shortly, please gather outside," Zira told everyone in the common room. Her voice carried well, but there wasn't a tone of demanding to it. She seemed a bit subdued herself. "I might need some help setting up a platform. If anyone has something they wish to say, talk to me before hand. Don't worry about the dark elves, they're only here for the gathering. Afterwards, they'll disband through the city. I expect some of the locals who plan to fight will probably listen as well."

Cara and Dina were stunned by everything that was going on and they looked at each other then at Cassandra, "You know... Up till now I never really paid much attention to the elves..." Dina said as he thought about it. But they seem to be more prejudiced that the humans."

"Living for a few centuries can do that to you," Cara added, though I would have thought that in a time like this they would be more open to working together."

"Miss Cassandra," Nipa asked, "since you resemble one of the dark elves does that mean that you would have to leave too if the dark elves leave?"

Cara and Dina chose to remain quiet, they knew that Cassandra would not leave... Not unless they tried to drag her away, not after what they had all gone through to get here.

Cassandra looked toward Zira as she heard her speaking. When the dark elf finished, she looked back at her companions. "Well, it looks like we're finally done waiting. Let's go outside," the seeress said and rather awkwardly, rose from her seat.

She steadied herself by holding onto the back of the chair and looked at Nipa. "No, I believe Zira is referring the dark elves that came to see the gathering," Cassandra said and gestured to the group outside. "Besides, the Glassy Woods elves should soon know that I am a centaur, merely without the more obvious parts."

She gave a deep sigh as she looked at the very defined split in groups. "Elves are not prone to the petty prejudices of humans. Fear of another race merely because they are different. You must remember, they were enemies in the War of the Gods. They sold their souls to Falaris, and though that was their ancestors, the old feuds still run deep. Some dark elves still embrace that life, though I'm certain the ones here are those who rejected it."

Moryssa looked at Kiran and Toan. She didn't want to go outside right now, in her condition. "Can we stay inside?"

Kiran reached up and gently stroked her chocolate cheek. "I'm sure we can," he assured her, then brought her face forward to give her a soft kiss. Kiran wrapped his arm around her and led her across the room.

"We're going to stay in here, Zira," he told her as he led Moryssa to a table near the busted out bay window. Zira nodded, understanding the circumstances. If anyone preferred to stay in seclusion and listen from inside the inn, they were more than welcome to.

Toan followed them and though he felt like an extra and rather useless right now, he knew his place was to be close to his sister. He would not let her down again. With Kiran and her sitting at the table, he stood just off to the side unsure if he should sit down or not.

Moryssa noticed Toan standing aside from the table and looked up at her brother. "Toan, you can sit," she said and patted the seat of the chair beside her. Having the company of the two most important men in her life was comforting. She didn't want Toan to think she was pushing him away, either. Was that sword getting to him again? Maybe it should be taken away...

"Ah I see..." Dina said and looked sheepish. "I must have skipped that in my studies..." He did not want to say he just did not pay attention, but in fact as he was growing up not a lot was taught about elves and dark elves.

Cara thought about it and finally said, "I think I remember being told that a long time ago... I guess I just haven't been exposed to it to really let it sink in. He then hastily let go of Rain's hand before standing up... Albeit shakily.

Dina rose though he hit his problems by holding on to the table. Of them at the table the only ones that did not have a problem standing were those that were used to being on two feet.

"Ugh..." Alera moaned. As soon as she sat down to relax, she was called to stand up. Would there ever be rest? She got up and strolled outside, staff in hand.

Granite had long since figured out that they were the centaurs she'd seen earlier, only some how transformed. She didn't know much about magic, but it could be possibly. Well, however they had become elves seemed to have left them wobbly on their feet. Granite slipped out of her chair and reached out her hand to Cassandra, silently asking the prestigious woman to let her guide her.

Cassandra smiled and took the dwarf's small, slightly calloused, but manicured hand in her own much larger and slender hand and let Granite lead her and help her balance. For being so small, Granite was strong enough to carry Cassandra on her own--at least while Cassandra was in this form.

Arturo took in the whole spectacle in with a mixture of surprise and near disbelief. The warrior glanced at Joline, who seemed to be taking in the whole brawl in similar fashion. The whole thing was completely chaotic; it could quickly spill out of control and get everyone involved in no time. The Glassy Forest elves and the Dark Elves crashing together in a street fight, like common bandits. If he hadn't seen it with his own eyes, he'd never have believed it.

Arturo turned when he heard Joline's name called. It was Luria, trying to make her way through the crowd towards them. He was as bit on edge also, with everything happening in Raiden, now this seemed only to fray everyone's nerves. Speaking almost in a bare whisper, Arturo turned back towards direction of the elves wondered. "Damn, this was the one thing we didn't need. We won't win anything if we in fight amongst ourselves."

Luria caught up with Joline and the others quickly and stopped to catch her breath. "Geez, these people are just CRAZY..." she said between pants. She had a few bruise on her cheek starting to darken but hoped that they wouldn't notice. She looked up and saw some people coming out of the inn starting to set up a place for someone to speak to the crowd. "Wow, they're really planning for this thing to be huge, huh?"
