Deedlit cautiously lowered back down to the ground beside Parn and wrapped her arms around him carefully. It seemed the Yoroi were starting to move on. Parn wasn't the only one in pain, off her own adrenaline high, Deedlit was very aware of the claw marks in her sides. She sagged tiredly against Parn and prayed to Falis they would be ignored.

Wolf wrote:In an unexpected move the Yoroi hopped into the air, something a heavily armored being usually could not perform. The beast arced over Thangroth and landed with a grunt on his wounded limbs before moving forward attempting to catch the dwarf from behind.
Thangroth's surprise at seeing such a heavily armored creature leaping and moving with such agility was only a grin. The horror hoped to attack his back, thinking he was unprotected a good ploy if Thangroth stood still. Spinning on his heels the dwarf moved forward and barely ducked under the creature's lunge as it moved forward a long gash went down Thangroth's arm as the creature's claws caught him. But, he was now in a position to try something different. Thangroth leaped up himself, nowhere near as high as a human or a yoroi but placing his feet together the dwarf rammed both boots into the creature's chest hoping to drop kick the fiend.

Wolf wrote:The Yoroi limped towards the fallen Granite. His tail wiggled behind him the tip hanging over the shoulder of his wounded arm, waiting to get close enough to strike.
"GRANITE!!!" A heavy dwarven voice screamed from behind her. Granite looked up as one of her brothers--Nagnar--flew over her with a battle axe brandished. He wasn't alone either. While Nagnar flew at the Yoroi's face, another of her brothers, Velfur came in from the side and put all his strength into slamming his hammer into the Yoroi's good knee.

As they flew back, Sevrina wrapped her arm around the Yoroi's neck and turned on her side. Instead of being smashed against the wall, she braced with her feet, let her knees give a little, then pushed off with all the strength she could muster. She winced as she could feel muscles straining and tearing, but she was no stranger to pain. As long as she could walk, she would fight. The Yoroi was propelled back down to the ground.

In the mean time, Kai had time to recover Gilgamesh and was prepared to retaliate as soon as his opponent was back down. It had one knee out, one eye gone and was without full range of motion in it's arms. A soon as he had a clear line of sight, he went for it's one good eye...

Fasz pushed his sword vigorously with both of his hands towards the beast's throat, while he tried to take off from ahead of the Yoroi without being thrust to the ground.

Priestess Cadila ripped her blade from the impaled throat of a smaller Yoroi and looked about for another victim. The Myrii priestess's eyes fell up a warrior in a near stalemate with another Yoroi and approached from behind out of the Yoroi's line of sight. As she came close, she leveled her sword and took off at a run with a blade aimed for the right shoulder joint.

The creature was worse off than the young dwarf had guessed, but Thangroth's thoughts of battle were spurred on when he heard Granite's name shouted amidst the fighting somewhere. Grimacing from his still bleeding shoulder, the red-haired dwarf was pulled down towards the beast as it caught his leg with it's good arm. But, in the beast's desperation it had given Thangroth an opportunity. Taking advantage of his smaller size and the fact he was on top of the beast, the Dwarf got up from his prone position and swung his axe at an angle. Gripping the axe handle with both hands solidly as he put all his strength and weight behind it. Aiming for the creature's under chin, the dwarf hoped if not to sever the creature's head to cause a near-fatal injury on the beast.

The Yoroi fell in a violent twist as a blown out knee forced it down and the blow to the head forced it back. Nagnar ended up landing in a roll just behind it which brought him back to his feet. He turned and ran back at the Yoroi, axe raised to smash into it's head again. Meanwhile, Velfur raised his hammer again and began smashing at the Yoroi's hip and abdomen with fierce strokes.

"Don't...Mess...With...Our...SISTER!" Velfur said to punctuate his hammer smashes.

"Thanks," Fasz said to the priestess as his sword was liberated from the beast's jaws. He stuck his sword inside the beast's throat and then pulled it off; the Yoroi stopped screaming. As he did this, his rage stopped and he started feeling the wound he had received during battle.

"Can you please do something about this?" he asked Cadila as he showed her the cut that the beast's claws did; his armor had been cut, and the wound could be easily seen.

Cadila freed her blade from the Yoroi's corpse and turned to Fasz. She winced as she saw the deep wound in his gut. "It got you good," she murmured and went to his side. She placed her hand over his largest wound, said a prayer and Fasz's wounds started knitting.

Parn, now that his adrenaline rush was over, seeing Deedlit alright, knelt to the ground. His muscles burned from the exertion, and his wounds were now very much known to him. Glancing up at Deedlit, he grimaced. "You could have warned me Deed." He chuckled, getting back on his feet very slowly. He then noticed something very strange. Azala had moved in front of the marching Yoroi. He faced off against Faiza, the elf must have gone nuts.

Azala frowned, using Sylph to move in front of the forward moving Yoroi. Well, if they were just going to ignore him, he would make himself well known. Apparently they weren't totally immune to magic. And if air did that much damage, he wondered how well water would fair. Raising his index and forefinger to the front of his face. "King of water, Maris. Come to me! Reveal the contract that you and I have made!"

He had never summoned Maris, but he was doing his job. Take these metal abominations out. Opening his eyes, he beheld the king spirit before him. "Alright Maris, destroy these creatures of darkness with your crushing waves!"

Anyone near Raiden Bay would have been in awe at what they would see. A pillar of water shooting skyward, then ground ward at the group led by Faiza.

Wolf wrote:The beast spun quickly, bringing its thick armored tail swinging towards Azoth intending to strike with as much momentum as possible.
Azoth ducked under the tail and now that his sword was freed from the monsters grasp he had his full mobility again. The only problem with ducking under and back like he had meant he was not in a position to strike back. Doing a quick spin he readied his sword for his next attack, but the sounds of water rushing around was not the normal sounds of battle he was used to.
