Adriel took in Mica's words. Kiran was his father too then? Had Adriel just found his own brother? Raping a thirteen year old girl...it made Adriel sick. "{Bastard indeed, he never ceases to disgust me. Kiran, he's your father then?}" Adriel asked.

"{Not the sharpest knife in the drawer, are you?}" Mica sighed. "{Yes, Kiran is the name of my father, who raped my mother, who in turn raped me, and cut my ears as such.}" He traced his fingers over his rounded ears. "{She visited on me horrors in which I refuse to describe to a certain extent, horrors in which would turn a dark elf pale.}" Mica spat. "{Just thinking about that wretched man whore makes my skin crawl.}"

Adriel couldn't believe the things he had heard from his half-brother, but he decided it was best just to introduce himself. "{Then I greet you as a brother,} Adriel replied, a bitterness to his voice. "{I am Adriel, and I am hunting our 'whore' of a father as well.}"

"{Great...}" Mica mumbled in elven. Competition... "{Well then, Adriel, full blooded dark elf brother of mine: this forest is annoying and cold. Let's go to Salbad so I can get paid for my job and we can hunt the bastard down before he rapes another innocent young woman. Your servants can either follow or stay behind, either way suits me just fine.}"

"{May I know your name then?}" Adriel asked. He was beginning to wonder just how many siblings he might have.

"{Mica. Mica Lorelai.}" he sighed. "{You'll meet my wife Parsley when we get to Salbad.}" He shot Adriel a glare. "{Any quips about my wife's name and I'll gladly use the old taciturn 'the sins of the father weigh upon the son'.}"

Yrsanne went further with the others, she called back the dark spirits and the aura of coldness seemed to disappear. She was surprised that the half-elf was Adriel’s brother. As they walked, fresh wind from the sea played in the trees and gave the dark elven shaman a feeling of sadness, she recalled the days in Salbad, the last days of Empire. But Yrsanne forced herself to give up those thoughts. “{The wind from the sea is always cold…Have you ever been outside of Marmo?}” Yrsanne asked Sythenra, who was walking behind her.

Sythenra said nothing to the two Dark Elf males and followed Yrsanne hiding her angered farily well. However, she did thought to herself after hearing about Kiran's sexual behavior. Raping a girl? What was he thinking? She thought with a slight expression of disguest on her face. When, the other female dark elf asked her the question if she had ever been out of Marmo the dark elf smiled a bit. "{Not, too often, I spent most of time out in the forest.}" She repiled to her with a slight smile.

“{I’m afraid this journey won’t end on this land}”, Yrsanne replied to Sythenra glancing at Mica.

"{We'll be in Salbad soon enough.}" Mica stated slowly. Elven was still a little clumsy in his mouth. "{Adriel, how...how old are you? I need to know whether you're just little because you're little or because you're younger.}" Mica gave a large grin. He was nearly a head taller than his brother, and a little broader in comparison.

Adriel was a little annoyed at being called small. He was of average height among the men of his village, though a few were taller than he, none were nearly as tall as Mica. Now that Mica had calmed, Adriel noticed that he wasn't speaking the elven tongue with total ease. "We can speak in the human tongue, if it is more comfortable," Adriel spoke in fluent common, though his way was very proper, only for the fact that he didn't know how to use contractions. "I am sixty-nine years old. I suppose it is your human heritage to attribute to your height. I have been told that elves are not nearly as varied in features as humans. Out of curiousity, how old are you then?"

"Sixty-four." he replied in Common. "I guess you're a shorter older brother. My height may be attributed to my maternal side, that would make sense." He sighed. "So you're five years older. Not too shabby. Still, I think you're one up on me though. I believe, at least, your mother was willing." And not a psychopathic bitch. He added quietly.

After hearing the little Mica had shared about his mother, Adriel realized how good his life had been, despite not having the traditional elven family.

"My mother was. He only seduced her and lied about his intentions. She expected to marry him and have a child with him as she was umm...ready. He just wanted to sleep with the elder's daughter," Adriel explained, though he found it hard to discuss sex with a stranger. Elves were usually so reserved about it, and especially when it came to discussions of their estrus cycles--not that it was comfortable talking about one's mother's estrus cycle.

"Yeah, Kiran is an ass." Mica grunted. "My mother never blamed him though. She placed all the blame on me. It was my fault that he was rough with her. It was my fault that I was a half-elf." He gave Adriel a small wink. "So I killed her." He walked ahead a bit. "You can see Salbad from the edge of the forest. I'd like to get paid and tended too before these wounds fester. So let's hurry."

Adriel felt chilled by his brother's words. Did he seriously kill his mother? Adriel wondered. The dark elf caught up with a few quick strides to the half-elf. He cast a glance at Yrsanne and Sythenra to make sure they were keeping pace, and partially to see what their expressions said about Mica.

OOC: Maybe we should let Fel start playing right away and let her work on Parsley's history at the same time.
