"You sound like I did." Mica grunted. "At least you got to keep your ears." Mica traced the scar tissue on his ears from his mother's butchery. "My mother was thirteen when she had me. She raped, defiled and scarred me. She took a finger of mine because she saw it unsightly. She removed part of my ears because they weren't human. She never once blamed him though, all the blame was mine, and mine alone. Had I not been born, she would have had a nice blissful life. Had I not been born she would have forgotten the rape." Mica scoffed. "The woman was dellusional, even for a selfish, whiny, thirteen year old bitch. The first act of love I performed towards my mother was choking the life from her at the tender age of ten, years before either the Duke or Duchess was even concieved. If you want me to love you, I can love you, but you have to take that look of disdain off of your face. You're a priestess first. Your face guides people's faith. You look at Dark Elves like we're a plague and you'll scare away hopeful paritioners." Mica cursed under his breath. "Damn that old man. Even years pass and I still am haunted by that self-righteous Dark Elf's words."

“{Don’t worry, I’m fine},” Yrsanne replied with a smile to Sythenra and kept listening to Neese. She was glad that she had never known Kiran, and hopefully will never know him.

Sythenra sighed, the talks about Kiran had left her a little upset. Standing up, she bowed respectfully toward the Duke and Duchess. "Forgive me.. But, I have some things on my mind. So, I'm going to go out and get some air. Excuse me." She said to them. With that, the Dark Elf went outside and put her back against the wall. "Kiran.. Why, in the gods have you done all this?: She couldn't help but to mutter.

Elohssa's ears laid back in discomfort while Mica ranted. One of the dark elves stood and walked out, and Elohssa watched her leave. She wanted to hide from Mica's words, but she couldn't protect herself behind some priestess's skirts any more.

"I'm not disdainful!" she defended herself. "I just don't want to have two more brothers like my human ones..."

Mica laughed. "There. Some honesty and insight into your life Elohssa." Mica stared down his sister. "Adriel is far kinder than I, and I would never mistreat someone unless they first wronged me. That should eleviate some of your concerns, priestess."

Elohssa blushed and looked down at her sandaled feet. Adriel slipped from the pew and knelt in front of his sister. Placing a hand on her shoulder, he proved that he indeed was the kindest of the pair. "Elohssa, do not worry," Adriel said. "I will be the best brother I can, but first, I must seek our father."

Elohssa blushed more and nodded. "I don't care about him, he's not a part of my life," Elohssa said. "Why do you seek him?"

Adriel looked down for a moment. "I...well, my reasons are not as dire as Mica's. I want Kiran to know the consequences of his actions."

Elohssa shrugged. "Well, you guys can do what you want. I personally don't care about what happens to my father," the half-elf said. Her face cracked in a smile though and she leaned forward to hug Adriel. "It's good to have a nice brother for once."

She pulled away from the dark elf, then looked at Mica. "Can I get a hug from the intimidating assassin brother as well?" she asked Mica with a playful little smirk.

"Heh." The half elf breathed out and rose to hug his sister. He obviously dwarfed her in size, as he was six inches taller than Adriel. He pulled his little sister into his arms and patted her back. "See? I'm not that intimidating."

Elohssa gave a little giggle and hugged Mica back. When he set her back down, the half-elf looked at both brothers, grinning. "Too bad I can't come with you," she said, "but I can't use any of Marfa's healing magic until I'm raised to a full priestess. Maybe one day you guys can watch out for me on my pilgrimadge." The little half-elf winked to Adriel and Mica.

Yrsanne decided not to follow Sythenra and leave her with her thoughts for some time. She watched Elohssa and her two new-made brothers with a soft smile, “So the half of the family united at last…”

"Perhaps some day we will accompany you on that pilgramidge." Mica answered. "But it's almost time for Adriel and others to pilgramidge to my house to meet my wife." he kissed Elohssa on her forehead. "It was nice meeting you."

Adriel stood up to leave with Mica. "I will be certain to come back and visit you when our journey completes," he assured his new little sister who was absolutely beaming from the kiss on her forehead. "How long until you take your pilgramidge?" he asked, pausing just a moment.

"Well, I'll be going back to Tarba when I'm fifteen to be raised, but it'll be a couple more years more before I can take a pilgramidge. I'll send you a letter if I can!" Elohssa replied.

"I will be waiting," Adriel said with a smile. "It was good to meet you, Elohssa." Like Mica, he leaned down and kissed the half-elf's forhead too.

Rising and turning to Mica, he looked up at his taller brother. "I am ready," he said, waiting for Mica to lead the way to his home.

Yrsanne stood up after Adriel and was ready to follow him. She waited for Mica and looked out for Sythenra who had gone out and haven’t shown up yet.

OOC: Rory, you can post us leaving, we'll just lock this and wait for Parsley to be finished, since we're already at a standstill.

Mica bid Elohssa and the two nobles his leave and a good day and made his way out of the temple with Adriel and Yrsanne following behind. Their next stop was Mica's house, a few blocks south of the temple. It would be best to go along the backroads. Mica thought. There's less of a chance accidentally bumping into Parsley that way. The half dark elf showed the group of dark elves the way to his house, dodging the main streets as best as he could.
