Eiyuu Kishi Den

I'm just curious if anyone here likes Monster Rancher? Or at least heard of it? It was the first video game I owned when I got a Playstation and I loved it to pieces, I have the first two games and I watched the anime that used to be on Fox Kids.

Oh gosh... I remember my brother owning MR2 ('Monster Farm' in Japan) for the Playstation, and the GBA version of it (well, that was technically my lil' sis'...). I think they are coming out with an MMORPG, and a Nintendo DS version of it pretty soon.
I still love that game, and generating CDs just to get certain monsters. Though, I hate it that I wasn't always a high enough rank to get the rare ones from certain CDs that I owned.

I played and own both games and have some of the anime on tape. I used codebreaker to beat the games. xD That's right I cheated. You have to cheat! Monsters die faster than you can raise up their stats.

I like the first game better than the second. I prefer Holly to Colt. My first monster was Tiger. I named him Tigger. ^_^ Hehe. If anyone is interested in watching the anime you can catch them all at this site: http://monsterranchertv.blogspot.com/ it's the dub version I'm afraid. I found the original but no subtitles and you need to have a Veoh account for those. Monster Rancher isn't the only anime on there either. But you can only watch 79 minutes worth of shows before you have to wait 120 minutes to watch more.

Hmm, I think I used a tiger at first, but I never did like thier move sets. I think I ended up with a pink suezo in my first one, barely beat it, it died a week later... I was sad, but didn't make another one. Second one, Durham named Paliadin, then a durham/pixie named Valkyrie. Surprisingly easy to get those things into the grand championships, they are fricken beasts though. Deathbringer move was oh so powerful
