Seeing his opening, Brest lowers his sword point and charges the creature. His mouth opens in a battle cry as he aims the sword point directly at the exposed chest of lizard. The point of his sword gleams in the dull light as he lunges forward. Everything has a heart...

The creature saw Brest coming, but its attempt to correct its lunge was too slow. A hideous bubbling wail erupted from the thing as the knights' sword hit home, plunging through scales deep into blubbery flesh. But even mortally wounded it fought back. Throwing its mighty arms around Brest, it locked its massive jaws on the knights right shoulder, trying to force its way through the armor in its dying frenzy.

Brest grunt in pain and then yelled as some of the teeth slipped between the plates and cut through the gambeson. The creature shook him like a ragdoll in its dying throws and finally flung the knight to the wall. Brest hit the wall with a tooth loosening amount of force and slid down it into a heap clearly stunned. His sword remained stuck in the creature as blood pumped around the blade.

OOC: Sorry for the long wait. Moving into my own place and building a New RPG world seem to have taken up more time that I anticipated.

Leaving the beast to die, Silvia agilely hopped across the sewer to her employer's side. "Hey, Brest, you alright mate?" the half-elf asked, kneeling beside him and laying her hand on his shoulder. Seeing that he was indeed alive, if ailing, she didn't waste time waiting for him to respond and glanced down the way to see Kierland's form on the ground.

"Priestess, can you see to him?" she asked Jenesis, then the mercenary was back on her feet, catching up with the subdued Kierland.

Brest bleerily opens his eyes as his world stops spinning from the vicious throw against the wall. Blood seeps out from under the pauldrons of his armour. He must be hurt as he looks at the half elf woman and in a smirk says, "Nothing a few kisses and a bandage won't fix." His tone has just a hint of sarcasm to it and he puts his hand to the shoulder and pulls his hand away to look at the blood on his gloved finger tips.

"Well, that is going to be a new scar." he says sardonically and recovers his sword but does not rise letting the priestess come and check his wounds.

Jenesis looked over to Silvia and then to Brest. Walking over to the male and kneeling down in front of him bring her hands over his wounds before sending a prayer to Marfa healing the man's wounds.

Brest winces slightly as the magic flows over his person the wound ceases bleed but does not close immediately. Slowly, ever so slowly, the skin begins to close and leaves angry red marks where the teeth broke the skin. That is going to be tender for quite some time.

Brest nods his thanks to the priestess, "Thank you."
