Silvia raised her eyebrow in surprise at the unexpected nugget of useful information. Glancing toward Brest for his reaction, she seemed like they had a potential destination in mind. "Well?" she questioned the knight, hoping that this was encouraging for him.

Brest nods at the little unexpected surprise. He stifles a smile and nods to the maid in thanks. "Thank you for speaking to us." He turns his gaze towards the half elf.

"Well it seems we have a more probable place to go and pay a visit to." He smiles a little in satisfaction. "shall we?" He stops leaning on the bar.

Silvia returned the smile, a confident smirk now that they had a more definite destination. "Well then, let's head out to the warehouses," the half-elf said, then turned and strode across the tavern floor to the door.

As she stepped out into the sunlight, grateful to be out of that musty old bar, she noticed a ragged looking urchin eying up their horses. "Oi! Don't even think about it, kid!" she shouted, pointing at the would-be horse thief. The boy gave a start, then looked away and hurried down the street in the opposite direction of the mercenary and knight. "Told ya," she murmured to Brest, then headed over to Grey Wind.

Brest glances from Silvia to where the boy went running. "You should have let him try and grab the reins of one of the horses. He would have gotten a good drubbing." He shrugs, "Unlikely to change his line of work but one never knows."

He mounts his horse taking the reins and settling himself into the saddle with practed easy, his armour making little noise. "Let us be off to pay a visit to these people. Perhaps they will have a more direct knowledge of where the man is."

Silvia untied her horse's reins from the post. "There's little bother in deterring Raidenites from a life of crime--if the term even applies here," the half-elf replied, then hauled herself up into Grey Wind's saddle. "I'll lead the way down to the warehouses," she added as she backed her mount into the street.

Brest just grunts in grudging acknowledgement about deterring criminal activity. I still say it would have served him right for trying to steal the horse. He pats the warhorse on the neck as Silvia steers Grey Wind out into the street.

With nothing to do but follow her, he takes a few minutes to study her form and how she rides the horse. I wonder why she assumed I was trying to bed her the moment I spoke to her. She is well formed enough and she dresses leaving nothing to the imagination. Perhaps all the men she deals with are base enough to not be able to think further than their pants.

OOC: We can jump to the Warehouse thread now. Kierland is unconscious next to the front doors of the building.
