The village of Ales on the outskirts of Kanon and Valis has been taken over by a cult of Baylos. As the village has no nation to protect them, they are counting on mercenaries to save them.

Sohe sapphire eyes wandered over to Lianora as she left for the main guild hall, a misfit’s smirk grew on his face as he casually followed after her disregarding the rest of the group for now. Now that he was completely blinded by lust he came to the lobby to find the Priestess with Niklas, but in his current state he didn’t acknowledge that the man even existed and knowing his luck that would come back to bite him. With a smile now on his face and his arms at his side he approached Lianora flashing his white teeth in a smile. “Hello how are you?” he asked extending his hand to the Priestess, “My name is Sohe what’s yours?”

Flora quickly left the room and headed upstairs to go take a nap. The room that she was staying in wasn't as good as the castle's room, but at the moment, it was. The lavender hair girl chnage into a white night gown and place her clothes over the chair. She sat in front of the window and brush her hair, then she went to sleep.

Lianora smiled back at the young man, and if not for Niklas at her side, she may have flirted, but she had become infactuated with the white-haired young man and at this point, she had decided to devote herself to him...at least for now. "Hi, I'm Lianora," she said, her voice convaying a sense of solely professional interest, though she was rarely professional.

Sohe kept on his smile to hide his misfit intentions still not noticing Niklas as he continued to eye the beautiful priestess. “A beautiful name for a beautiful woman.” He certainly wasn’t a shy person as he took up her right hand and laid a kiss on the back of it.

Lianora looked down at Sohe as he kissed her hand with a slight smirk on her lips. "Thank you," she replied, without a hint of humility. Lianora had a high opinion of herself, she knew she was beautiful.

No humility? He was liking this woman more and more in each passing second. "So what brings a beauty such as yourself to accept an assignment like this?" he asked with a hint of flirting.

Lianora chuckled and glanced over her shoulder at Niklas. "He does," she replied. "I am... following Myrii's will by aiding Niklas in his journies. I think he may have the potential to become a great hero."

At that, Niklas looked up at her with a raised eyebrow. Hero? Does she really think I am a hero? he thought.

Sohe eyes wide a bit as he just now noticed the male sitting behind Lianora. Typical Sohe not noticing anyone else but the pretty ladies. "Oh that's nice, so he your brother?"

Lianora looked back at Niklas and laughed. They looked nothing alike! In face, they were almost at opposite ends of the spectrum; her with black curly hair, him with white straight hair; her skin fair, and his dark; her eyes that lovely sea green shade and his a rich, deep amber shade. The priestess looked back at Sohe with a smile on her lips. All this boy wanted was a reason to have her available, and that brought out that dark side of Lianora that wanted to toy with him. "No, we are not related," she replied simply.

Sohe finally looked over to the man to get a better look of his appearance before looking back over to the Priestess, tilting his head. He was looking for a reason to have her available. "Adopted brother?" He blinked blankly just swinging in the dark now.

~Niklas~

Cocking his own head lightly to the side, he didn't quite understand why Sohe thought they were brother in sister. after all, thier features were totally different in all respects. However, he remained silent, until the second part. "No, we've only met fairly recently. She helped me with navigation to here, along with a few others that we parted ways with."

If Niklas hadn't been fairly innocent, or even possessive, he might have felt jealousy. But rather, in this situation he was more curious than anything else.

"What would make you think we're siblings?" Lianora asked Sohe with a bemused smirk. The priestess planted her hands on the table and pushed herself up to sit on the edge, crossing her legs as she sat.

While waiting for Sohe to come up with a response, two more mercenaries emerged from the meeting hall, the two solo men. The elder fellow headed outside, but the younger man, Cayden, headed straight for Lianora. "Greetings, priestess," he said with a broad and charming grin.

At that, Lianora laughed aloud, noticing that he was flirting with her too. "My, my, surrounded by all these handsome young men. What's a priestess to do?" she said, smiling confidently. "Well then, how may I be of service?" she asked Cayden.

"A blessing, if you please," he said, then knelt in front of her, bowing his head.

"Of course." Lianora didn't move from her perch on the table, but she laid a hand on Cayden's head. "Oh Myrii, great god of war and virtue, please bless this warrior so that he may live to honor you," she prayed over Cayden.

Noting that the others went off to Lianora for blessings, the mute scoffed. Blessings from a god were pointless. There was only one god for the people of his island, and even he was unable to stop the slaughter of the entire village. "That's utterly pointless." Geo signed, nodding over to Lianora giving out blessings. "No god listens to the gripes and pleads of man any longer. Those that do are no better than sadists for allowing a cruelty like myself to go unpunished."

The slow clattered of her shoed hooves stilled, Mora paused from her casual stroll. Regarding Geo's word and the reclining priestess with a deep thoughtful look, her ear twitched in contemplation. Well, the centuaress knew Geo's history-- the slaughter of his people and his hardships that brought him to a distant shore-- that would evoke such bitter protests, but Mora tended to disagree. She has seen the gods move, her people were a living testiment to their great love, felt it in the movement of magic, the swirl of nature, and the rush of battle. The gods help those who would help themselves.

Mora carried on, the warrior moving past the mute, and eased up before the war priestess. Tall and proud, she waited to be acknowledged.

Lianora looked up...and up... to see the centauress's face. Her playful attitude dropped, but her confidence did not. The centaur was imposing, but quite impressive to Lianora. However, despite Mora's size, Lianora's ego was just about as large tonight. "May I be of service?" she asked Mora, bringing back that professional tone that she had intially addressed Sohe with.
