Return to Kigan's Inn

With their information on Nat, Thalia and Amara returned to the Kigan's Inn. Gregory and Jeren weren't back yet, but hopefully they would return soon. Thalia hoped to get on the road to Shinning Hill as soon as possible. The priestess and mage took a seat near the window to watch for the two men. Thalia had gotten herself a glass of wine to pass the time, and she almost wished she would have waited to eat here so they would have had something to do...

Amara stared at Thalia and tilted her head. "You okay priestess?" She asked with a small smile.

Thalia looked at Amara and smiled. "I'm fine, just... bored..." she replied. "I hope it doesn't take all day for them to get back."

"Hmm... Sorry. I don't mean to have you bored Thalia," Amara said as she rubbed her stomach gently.

"Don't worry about it," Thalia said with a smile, waving dismissively. "It can't be helped, I suppose. I really didn't expect to find any information on him."

Amara rested her head on the table while she looked outisde at the people walking back and forth. "I can't believe he lied to me though." The girl said as she looked at Thalia. "It makes me feel so sad to know that he lied to me," the girl looked sat up and continued to watch the priestess.

Thalia sighed and her blue eyes drifted toward the window. She took a small sip of her wine. "I fear he is just like his father..." she said.

Jeren strolled through the doors, Natasi right behind him. It took his eagle eyes no time to catch sight of Thalia's hair and he swiftly strolled to her side. "I think I met someone you two might like to meet. She told me quite the interesting story..."

Amara was excited to see Jeren enter the inn, but the excitement did not show on her face. Instead the mage's face just had a small smile on it. The girl looked at the newcommer and smiled. She didn't know what to say to her, but she couldn't wait to hear the woman's story. "Please, sit you two," the girl said while she rubbed her stomach and watch Jeren and Natasi.

The auburn-haired mercenary stepped in behind Jeren, following him to the table where a pregnant girl and a Marfa priestess sat. So this must be the girl employing him... she thought. "Hi there," she said with a small wave, and glanced to Amara. "So, you're the one our dear old Nat knocked up, eh?"

Amara blushed as she nodded towards the woman. "Yes, but do you have to say it that way. Couldn't you put it in a nicer way?" The girl asked softly as she blushed out of embarrassment. "So," she said as she looked up at the girl and continued, "how do you know about Nat?" That was the first question to enter her mind and she wanted to hear the answer, even though, she was afraid what the answer might be.

"Umm...sorry," Natasi murmured. She didn't even consider the rudeness of her comment, but she wasn't really used to the intricacies of relating to other women. During her walk with Jeren, she had spent much of the time coming up with a story as to what she wanted with Nat, but she would only come out with it a bit at a time, so she could try to keep her lies straight. She just hoped the search wouldn't take too long so she wouldn't have to come clean with them. The young woman took one of the chairs, swung it around so the back faced the table, then she sat--or straddled it, more correctly, like man. "Well, the charming bastard owes me some money," she replied. "Let's just leave it at that," she grunted. "But don't worry, I won't rough him up too bad... unless you want me to," the mercenary added with a grin.

"Oh, okay," Amara said with a small smile. The girl looked from Natasi, to Jeren, to Thalia, and back at the Natasi. "So, what is your name miss?" She asked not really remembering if she had told her or not.

"Natasi," the mercenary replied with a grin and stuck out her hand to Amara for her to shake.

Amara smiled at the girl and shake her hand. "Amara," the girl said back to her.
