Sevrina turned to Lorien and murmured lowly in elven, "{We have to find the other targets. I need to be outside to cast a spell. Tell Radira, Terild, and Dart to join us,}" Sevrina instructed. If Lorien was to act as her retainer, he would have to lead the way out of the inn and speak to their underlings for her.
Lorien gave the slightest of nods, preferring not to bother with any small talk that might give away his actions such as “At once” or “As you command” he knew his place and knew it well with his mentor.
She was gracious to well reward him in training and teaching, but to offend or disobey her was something he would not do, ever. The brown-haired young man looked at Dart and spoke, “We have something to do, no questions. Follow me.”
Rising from the table he looked at Radira and Terild and spoke in the same business-like calm voice with no hint of emotion. “Radira, Terild you also join us. Come.”

Without another word nor a glance back at Sevrina which would’ve been foolish he headed towards the door to the Inn. The only person to raise a question was Dart who spoke as he followed the young man, “Hey. I wasn’t done with my meal. Time for work eh?”
That did it, Lorien had put up with the man’s foolish cocky attitude for long enough, and as Sevrina’s retainer it fell to him to do the honors. As soon as they reached the outside of the inn, he turned and glared at Dart sharply then spoke in a cold tone that was both seething and somewhat frightening the same calm placid look on his face. “You say nothing when we’re about from now on. You talk too much and loose lips mean death. I told you no questions. This is the only warning you’ll get. Slip again and you won’t live to see another day.”

Dart had been foolish any slip or unnecessary would have reached the ears of the elf in their party of targets or any others with sharp ears and sense enough to listen. Lorien wanted no chance of anything that might even remotely alert their quarry to their presence or the job.
Dart’s eyes bulged at the young man’s abrupt words and he stepped aside silent, simmering as he thought to himself. When this is over you and I are going to settle up, just you wait pretty boy.

Radira stepped outside as well, as she’d followed Lorien without question, now all that was needed was for Terild to join them as Lorien had indicated that he join them as well.

((OOC: Just waiting on Terild's reaction.))
Sevrina smirked from the shadowed protection of her hood. She was proud of her apprentice's coldness and calm control. He was coming along well. He would certainly get a reward for that.

Terild followed the group out of the inn, casually striding along behind Radira. As they stepped into the street, he caught the sharp exchange between Lorien and Dart and shook his head. Dart could be so arrogant that he forgot his head. Usually Terild was the one to keep him in check. Clapping a hand on his old friend's shoulder, he continued following their employers. "C'mon mate, let's go."

Sevrina slipped her arm out from under her cloak, revealing the fine dress she wore beneath it that helped her role. She linked her arm with Lorien's and began to lead the young man subtly. He didn't know where they were going, but he had to act as if he did. It appeared as if Lorien was actually the one leading. She had to find a secluded place to cast her spell.

Lorien turned his attention at once from Dart to the matter at hand, as he felt the slender arm of his mentor interlink with his own. So subtle, and slight did Sevrina step, that he almost didn't catch that she was leading him.

The young man caught on quickly and began to step up the pace of his walk, to appear as if he were leading the party to their destination. He had no idea where they were going but, concentrated on remaining as cool and sensitive to any subtle tint of pressure along his arm or shift in the dark elf woman's body weight. Which would mean she was changing directions obviously, to further add to his credibility he spoke in that calm focused voice, no emotion present and completely focused to let the other mercenaries know they weren’t merely outside on a sight-seeing tour.

"This way, we have much to do and little time."

It was short, sweet and there were no need for further details, as they stepped along. Dart was still simmering somewhat from the admonishing he'd received from Lorien and when he felt a hand on his shoulder the young man turned towards Terild and nodded. At least someone was on his side, which made things a bit better.

Radira said nothing and followed as told, the smallest hint of a smile crossed her lovely face as she appreciated the professionalism she'd seen from Sevrina's companion so far. Not that she had anymore respect for him than any other man, which she had little for any.... But she could appreciate his worth as a mercenary, if nothing else at least he wasn't one to waste time and words.

~Azala~

Making his way back into town, he streched lightly, then stopped as he noted a small group of people. There were two cute women with them, but the men looked a bit seasoned. His sharp ears picked up something, sounding like directions. He had never known tourists needing so much muscle, even if they were nobles. Shaking his head, he chuckled to himself. Well, if they were up to no good, that was not his business. Probably just paranoid nobles. Whistling a light tune, he began to look for an inn. It was getting late, and he had no interest in meeting up with the night life.

OOC: I suppose putting this here as well is a good idea to.

Hidden in the shadow of her hood, Sevrina noticed an elven man walk by them. Though he had the coloration of many elves, his weapon and remarkable beauty identified him as Azala. No doubt Radira had noticed her target as well.

She leaned in close to Lorien, and since he was three inches shorter than her, it make communication easier. Whispering softly in elven, she explained her change of plan, "{That was Azala, Radira's target. We will move on to the Marfa temple and send someone in to investigate the priestess and her guardian. I don't think I will need to use the spirits after all. Now, call Radira forward.}"

OOC: Keith, I've got an idea for Dart's mission. Ask me about it!

It was a sound plan, as usual his mentor was practical and efficient not to mention flexible. Lorien turned back to the rest of their companions and spoke looking directly at Radira. “I need to speak with you, there’s work to be done. The rest of you be watchful and alert as you’re expected to be.”

Dart resisted the urge to mock the young man by mouthing his words as he spoke and contented himself to watch Sevrinna’s lovely form, at least what little he could see of her curves hidden by the cloak she wore. The mercenary was still simmering after the admonishment he’d received at the hands of the dark elf woman’s young apprentice. *Humpgh…who put pretty boy in charge? No matter, I’ll do the job, get paid and we’ll settle up at the end of this venture.”

As they stepped along at a leisurely pace, the young man spoke first to Radira calmly and directly, "You, Terild and Dart will be entering the place we arrive at. Observe, watch and scout the activities of the priestess and her charge." He chose not to use names, names given in the open meant anyone might hear and in hearing throw off their plans.

"You know who I mean, be careful and draw as little attention to yourself as possible. When you've gained enough information, check back with us."

The young woman nodded as she understood the full gist of the task.

OOC: Hopping forward to the temple thread.
