Current status of Record of Lodoss?

Current status of Record of Lodoss?

Hello All, just wondering what is the current status of this series? Is it still on going in JP? Any new manga or anime releases?

Also was rune soldier ever released in the states?

Also whats the difference between:
Legend of Crystania DVD Complete Collection (Hyb)

I noticed Legend of Crystania DVD Complete Collection (Hyb) is 220 Minutes while The Motion Picture is 85 mins.

There was a novel series going on in the early 00's, but I don't know if it's continuing or completed, or if any manga/anime are planned to be released on it.

Yes! I have the series on DVD, and a volume of the manga.

I noticed Legend of Crystania DVD Complete Collection (Hyb) is 220 Minutes while The Motion Picture is 85 mins.
The Motion Picture is the first of the series, then there are three OAVs following (I have them compiled onto one disk calling the collection "The Chaos Ring", I used to have all 3 episodes on VHS on separate tapes). The complete collection may be the movie and the OAVs, or just the three OAVs.
Also: Adriel, Aiden Silvermoon II, Ailil, Anisa Amri, Barbarian Barbie, Bella, Centauress Cissiria, Ciprian Tremas, High Elf Seri, Granite Stoneheart, Katela el'Baran, Kiran, Kitsa Stormeyes, Lady Kavryn, Meridian, Mia, Midwife Lien, Mudan Jasil, Myrela, Naclia, Natasi, Olula, Permanent Tears, Pirate Kreoss, Priestess Elohssa, Priestess Jenesis, Priestess Lianora, Priestess N'shara, Priestess Sairina, Priestess Sura, Priestess Thalia, Princess Elianna, Sevrina, Silvia, Vampiress Ileta, Vanaia, Werewolf Xanin, Y'ezela, Zaole, and Zira.

Cool, how do you like Rune soldier? I just got it in the mail. Does it have to do with anything with the Lodoss series?

Rune Soldier is pretty funny, it's meant to be a fantasy comedy, sort of like Slayers. There isn't really much in common with Lodoss other than the fact that it's set in Alecrast, so it's a completely separate story in a completely different part of the world.
