The King Kanon’s reign was ended in NRC 510 during the Marmo invasion of Kanon. He had three sons, but only two of which were in Shinning Hill. His youngest son, Reona, had left home several years before as he was far superior in intellect and skill than his elder brothers, yet being the third prince, he had no claim to the throne (at least, so long as his brothers lived). However, King Kanon and his two eldest sons were executed by the Marmo. Fifteen years later, Reona would free Kanon from the Marmo and return to claim his father’s throne.
(Judging by how he was presented, it seems that “Kanon” was not only the nation’s name, but the royal family’s name.)
Appearances in the SeriesKing Kanon only appeared briefly in the anime as he was brought before Emperor Beld sitting in his throne, and he was sentenced to death.
