Chapter 1: Rest in Adan

Amara, a young mage pregnant with a child fathered by Nat the bard, is desperately seeking him in the hopes to marry him and please her family. While in Adan, she meets the priestess Thalia and her guardian Gregory, and Jeren, a dragonrider.

After their first night together, the group decides to split up and search Adan.

After Amara and Thalia search their assigned areas of town, they cross paths and decide to go for lunch... which leads them straight to the information they want.
