Physical Description

Krisatris is a pretty child-like woman. She has a scar right under her left eye, however it is hard to see unless you’re right in her face. Krisatris has short brown hair and green eyes with lightly tanned skin. Her legs are very shapely and muscled while her arms aren’t so muscular, which only adds to her immature appearance. She has long ears like any half-elf.

As a were-wolf, she is gray and brown fur mixed with a streak of brown down her back. As most were-wolves, she’s larger than normal wolves, but still small in comparison to most other were-wolves.

Abilities

Air and water spirits are her strongest summons, while earth is her weakest. Her shamanist training is limited, so she is an advanced level one. She can only cast spells in her normal form, when she shifts to a were-wolf, she isn’t intelligent enough to cast spells.

Moderate in strength and endurance for a woman, she is rather agile as well. Her swordsmanship is enough to keep her safe from most threats, but she isn’t nearly an adept. Since she was trained as a ranger, her bowmanship is better.

Krisatris is afflicted with Lycanthropy, the curse of the were-wolf. This causes her to shift into a were-wolf under the full moon. Every full moon she shifts into her full wolven form and will almost completely loose her humanity, becoming a vicious killing machine. Since she was only recently afflicted, she has very little control over this change. As a were-wolf, she loses a good portion of her humanity, but with training, she can learn to retain her intelligence. When she shifts, she gains +10 to her strength, +5 to endurance, +2 to her agility and -10 to her intelligence.

Personality

She is actually quite friendly and easy to approach. She does have a very calm spirit and is always determined to use whatever means to get people to where they want to go. However, when she gets angry she shows it by yelling and often breaks things around her. She can be viewed as a great helper due to her being a team member and helping others with her knowledge. Lastly she can be very affectionate to young half-elves since she understands how they feel and what they go through.

Alignment: Chaotic Good

Quotes: “Strength is neither good or evil. Strength is without loyalty, but if you fight for the ones you love, your power is drawn forth and you can protect those weaker than you.”

History

Krisatris has had a rough start in life. Born to an elf, her mother, and a human, her father, she didn’t get much attention from either of her parents when she was a child. Her mother was a bit domineering and was always trying to control her father. Her father ran off with a human woman, leaving her mother wondered were he went. When her mother had found out, she went after him. Her father thought she would be alright living with her elven mother. However, this wasn’t the case, her mother, whom was also a bit racist, as well thought a half-elf could never be as good of a child as a full elf and left. Thus, Krisatris was left to to live on her own at the age of nine.

She learned shamanism to be able to live and learned more things about to the spirits. Luckily, she had been found by a human family when she was ten, on the outskirts of the village Dunnroot. She came in from the wilds to their porch, falling down from hunger and exhaustion, as well as wounded from attacks by wolves. The family took pity on her and took care of her, calling her Krisa for short, because her actual name was too difficult for them to say.

The father of the household was a ranger who taught her how to use a bow and a blade, as well as track and hunt for food. She helped clean the house, cook, hunt, and tasks she wouldn’t have learned if she wouldn’t had met them. Her bond with the family grew more and more as the years went by. She became like a daughter and sister to the family.

One night however, while they were having a very peaceful, quiet dinner together in her eighteenth year, a were-wolf attacked their homestead. Kris was the only one who could battle it and had no choice but to do so. She managed to fight the were-wolf off, but both Kris and the were-wolf had been wounded, and the were-wolf’s blood had gotten into Kris’s wounds.

One month later, under a full moon, Kris suddenly had a strange urge and left the house. She remembered nothing after that. However, her foster father saw something big leave the house, but was too frightened to want to see what it had been.

The next morning, her family found her asleep in her bed with blood dripping from the corners of her mouth. It was then the family had realized she had been given the curse of lycanthropy from the were-wolf that she fought a month before. Finding out that she was now a were-wolf, Kris became worried. She thought she would be forced out of her home. However, to her surprise, her family let her stay so long as she locked herself in the cellar every full moon. The houses’ cellar was emptied out and they installed a steel door before the next full moon.

In her nineteenth year, tragedy struck. Her foster father often gave her ranger tasks to hone her skills. She would camp out in the woods for a few days, fend for herself, then return. Shortly after a full moon, so there would be no danger of her staying away too long, Krisatris’s foster father sent her on a camping trip into the Silent Swamp. She was to stay out for two weeks, then come home. After her two week absence, Kris returned home to find her home burned out. When she went to the village to ask what happened, she saw further damages and learned from the townspeople that bandits had raided the village. Her entire family had been killed.

Angered, she left and began to hunt down the bandit clan responsible. However, it turned out that they had no home base and were mobile. Krisatris began to track them down, and her search brought her to Kanon. In the meantime, she has no means to control her shifting, though she is trying to find a way, either mentally or physically.
