While the others talked about what she already knew, Naclia drew away from Aiden and went to Talen. She was disappointed in his lack of a reaction to her, but he seemed to be sleeping. The elf knelt beside her knight, who had fallen asleep sitting, and gently stroked her gloved hand across his cheek, brushing aside his hair. "Talen," she whispered, hoping for a favorable awakening for him.

Talen shifted a bit in his slumber, a smile on his lips as he heard the soft voice of Naclia echo in his ears. "Mmm....Naclia...." he whispered softly in his sleep, shifting forward a bit, in his slumber he dreamt of a romantic moment with the elf, which in turn was making his body act in the conscious state. He leaned forward, his lips pressing against hers for a moment with how close she was to him.

Naclia was shocked by the sudden kiss, but she didn't object. After a moment, she pulled back. "Talen..." she gasped, sounding surprised. She was blushing, but it was too dark to see. "What was that for?" She knew quite well what it was for, but she wanted an answer out of him.

Talen's eyes fluttered open, slowly awakening from the dream he was having. "Wh....what?" he mumbled, before feeling the warmth from Naclia close to him. Wait...he couldn't have, he caught her words when he was awakening, hearing her request of what his action was for. "Wait...this...isnt a dream?!" he said, eyes going wide in shock and cheeks red with embarrassment.

Naclia giggled, "No, it's not." The elf leaned back and pulled back her hands, bracing them on her thighs. "We're back from the city, and we have some information. Maybe you should go back to sleep, we'll probably set out in the morning," she explained.

Aiden Silvermoon II wrote:"No Rylan, I don't think the spirits would know anything else in this regard," Aiden replied to the centaur, glancing over his shoulder. The spirits didn't concern themselves with human affairs. "It could also be possible that the duke simply didn't trust us to stand by our word and sent someone to check on us at the Drecloud manor."

The ranger turned back to Eliamn. He was impressed by the amount of information Eliamn had been able to come back with, but did they learn where the Mur-Cavendrels actually were? Whether or not they did, Eliamn made a good point in accumulating evidence about whoever was behind the egg theft. "So, do we go to this place of study then? Have you found the location of the Mur-Cavendrel family yet?"
Eliamn's eyes flicked to Naclia as she slipped away and then turned them back to Aiden again. "Yes." The shamaness nodded. "We have learned of the location of this mage school, so the only constraint we really have to worry about is time - time find the evidence we need and to then catch back to the culprits. As for the Mur-Cavendrel Manse, we knew that much already from the map we retrieved from that old cartographer. I had a human youth courier it to you; did you get it?"

Aiden smacked his forehead lightly. "Of course," he grumbled. "I'm getting too tired to remember. Yes, we got the map. Did you find any more soldiers on your way here?"

"We came in the forest only about two hours ago, but not so far, no," the blonde shamaness replied as she shook her head... which turned out to be a bad idea as it gave her a bout of dizzyness. A moan escaped her as she braced her forehead with the back of one hand, willing herself to remain standing despite her legs feeling they had turned to jelly.

"Aiden, I am spent. I need to rest," she admitted shamelessly, lowering her hand to look back at him. "May we talk more tomorrow?"

Talen nodded. "Then perhaps rest is the best thing for us, considering we will have a trip back." he said smiling at her, though it couldn't be seen through the darkness.

Aiden nodded in agreement to Eliamn. "Eli, you just have a seat and I'll get your bedding ready," he said, putting his hands on her shoulders. "Give me your pack."

"We're not going back," Naclia corrected Talen. "We're moving onward." Hearing Aiden telling Eliamn he would make her bed, Naclia stood up. "You'd better get your bedroll." The ranger turned away and got her own gear out and started to lay out her bedroll. "How are we going to handle watch? Any volunteers for first?" she asked the group.

Eliamn turned a grateful smile to Aiden as she shrugged off her backpack for him to take. Naclia's question she ignored - she knew she wasn't a good candidate for standing on watch and instead asked Aiden: "Where do you want me to sleep?" She gestured to the camp, though subtly more in the direction Aiden had been mediating rather than where Talen had been sprawled. Perhaps he will get the hint and remember Naclia wanted to spend more time with Talen.

"I'll find you a nice flat spot," Aiden said as he unpacked her bedroll. He didn't pick up on her subtle hint, but he found a spot near where he was sitting that he knew was flat, then cleared the ground of any sticks or stones before rolling out her bedding. After all, it was the area he had become familiar with. Once her bed was ready, Aiden presented it to her; "There, all ready for you, Eli."

Eliamn seemed delighted and made ready to undo her leg-wraps, though not before stepping nearer to Aiden to whisper to his ear. "{I know you have misgivings about him, but Wilhelm was a great help. Can you help him settle down too, please?}"

Aiden nodded. He was too tired to be suspicious about Wil, especially when their trip seemed to be such a success. Maybe Eliamn never was in danger from him, or Naclia's presence had been enough to discourage the bard, but he didn't care to speculate. Leaving Eliamn to prepare for bed, he walked back over to Wil. "Do you need any help?" he asked the minstrel.
