OK well here are some ideas you can take them or leave them. I just thought I'd put in a little.

Dwarven drinks:

Dwarven Fire Water: A malt drink, good flavor but burns going down. This will knock someone out in one or two drinks if they don't drink often.

Dwarven Malt: A malt drink, which Dwarves use to play drinking game, taste great and can be consumed in high quantity.

Hops and Barley: The day to day drink (Hops and barley is what it made from.) similar to our beer.

That’s for starters.

And to commemorate the dwarves victories in every war they fought (because we all know they were all so short that even the dwarves could look over them) D War Fun Day.

Just kidding...sorry...

Moogles. We need moogles...oh wait, no, no we don't.

Dwarves are great craftsmen, and great craftsmen often make weapons not for war, but for the art of crafting. So let's not forget all those great craftsmen out there who put a lot of effort into dwarven items, but let us not also forget that other races can attribute great crafts as well. Like *ahem* elves, no offense.

Elves don't really craft as much as they empower. although I guess they do make dainty weapons, no offense, but they are more into making it look good as a Dwarf will make it withstand the test of time, without magic.

They never mention how elves in Lodoss make their steel (which is supposed to be the strongest and lightest), but I assume it would have to do with using Gnome to bring up the purest metals. And then during forging, there would be more work with elementals. So yeah, it's still magical.

I don't know to much about in Lodoss but overall knowlege is they use mythiral metals which is magical. Light and strong but it not common to see a Elven Blacksmith. So how do all the Eleves get their weapons? I think they were made still made by Dwarves, and Elves just took them a step foward. Don't get me wrong I like Elves but my understanding of their nature is they don't care much for metal as they would rather carry a bow or staff.

Like I said, they would just summon up the metals from the earth and forge the weapons on their own. They don't associate with dwarves, and wouldn't be trading much with humans, so they have to get it themselves. All the elves in the Lodoss animes and manga have been sword fighters and shamans.

Yeah, the elves and the dwarves, from what I've seen have a rather strained relationship. So, I think that they probably work with the elementals as well. If we really wanted to know we could just email Ryo Mizuno though...hehe...I can see the fan letters now: "Hey Dood, how do elves make their steel? -Crazy Lodoss fan #(place random number here)"

and his response: "Dear Crazy Lodoss Fan #(Place random number here), I think they get their shipments in from Okinawa. Sorry for the misunderstanding."
