Record of Lodoss War Manga Series

Record of Lodoss War has six manga series to its name to date. The manga series are more closely based on the novels than the anime, but they, at times, stray from the original novel storylines.

Record of Lodoss War: The Grey Witch

The first released Manga series for Record of Lodoss War, published originally by Kadokawa Shoten Publishing in 1998. The Grey Witch is three volumes and 22 issues long. The story was based on The Grey Witch novel series. The storyline follows Parn's first quest, the War of Heroes, and the freeing of Leylia from Karla.

We have all three volumes in English, available to be read in our gallery. This series is produced in English by CPM Manga, and can be purchased from many places.

Record of Lodoss War: Lady of Pharis (Falis)

The second released manga series for Lodoss, published by Kadokawa Shoten Publishing in 1995. Lady of Pharis is two volumes long. The series was originally based on the Legends of Lodoss novel series and is set during the War of the Demon King, following the quest of the Six Heroes and the warrior priestess of Falis, Flaus, as they seek to save Lodoss from the Demon King.

We have both volumes translated to English by "Ayanami", who granted us permission to repost the manga. This series can be purchased and was published by CPM Manga in the US.

Record of Lodoss War: Demon of Flame

The third series released for Lodoss, published by Kadokawa Shoten Publishing. Demon of Flame is two volumes long. The series was based on the Demon of Flame novel series and covers the Flaim civil war and release of the king spirits Djinn and Efreet.

We have both volumes translated to English by "Ayanami", who granted us permission to repost the manga. This series has not been published in English.

Record of Lodoss War: Deedlit's Tale

The fourth series released for Lodoss, published by Kadokawa Shoten Publishing. Deedlit's Tale is two volumes long. The series was based on the Deedlit's Tale novel and is based around Deedlit and Parn's dealings with the high elves.

Record of Lodoss War: Chronicles of the Heroic Knight

The fifth series released for Lodoss, published by Kadokawa Shoten Publishing. Chronicles of the Heroic Knight is six volumes long. The series was based on the Holy Knight of Lodoss novels and is focused on Spark and company's attempt to stop Kardis' resurrection at the hands of Wagnard.

We have all six volumes translated to English by "Ayanami", who granted us permission to repost the manga. This series can be purchased and was published by CPM Manga in the US.

Welcome to Lodoss Island!

This series has been running for some time, and is published by Kadokawa Shoten Publishing. Welcome to Lodoss Island! is three volumes long and is a parody of other Lodoss manga with chibi versions of the characters. It does not have a running storyline, and consists of gag strips.

We do not have the issues scanned in our gallery, but we will hopefully add them. At least two volumes of this manga have been published in English by CPM Manga in the US.

Legend of Crystania

Artist: Akira Himegawa

This two volume series is set 300 years in the future from Lodoss, and is set on the continent of Crystania where the refugees from Marmo landed. It follows Pirotess's quest to free Ashram from the gripes of the God Barbas, and the hero Redon and his companions in a quest to free Crystania from Barbas' control.

We have no scans of this manga and it has never been translated to English. We do have a few images of the manga in this album, however.
